This small, compact, Australian native shrub has distinctive and highly fragrant flowers. The flowers have a yellow interior with a burgundy/reddish-brown exterior and are produced profusely in winter. 1-1.5m H x 60cm W.
With its strongly scented flowers in spring it's been a favourite with gardeners for many years.
Ideal for native gardens, rockers and containers. Choose a position near windows and doors for maximum enjoyment of the perfume.
Plant in a cool, partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil.
Makes an excellent cut flower.
For longer life, pruning one third of the shrub is recommended immediately after flowering.
