The LA Hybrid Mix of Liliums are crosses between Longifolium and Asiatic lilies. They have the soft fragrance of the Christmas lilies with the larger bloom and wide range of bright colours of the Asiatic lilies. 4 - 5 blooms per stem. 90cm - 1m H. Blooms in summer.
Plant from June onwards in a full sun to part shade position in free draining slightly acidic, organic rich soil (heavy or clay soils are completely unsuitable as bulbs may rot). Protect from strong wind.
Suitable for all climates. Water regularly during the warmer months. Fertilise regularly during spring with a complete fertiliser.
Liliums may require staking, especially if located in a shady location, more shade results in taller stems. Enjoys being left undisturbed.
For best results always use a potting mix for bulbs and be sure to fertilise on a regular basis.
