A striking deciduous ornamental tree.
A very popular and prolific flowering cherry with large, double pink flowers that burst out in spring, and a strong growth habit. Leaves are bronze/green colour when new turning dark green as they mature and form a beautifully dense canopy, making it a wonderful shade tree.. Good for a range of landscape uses including parks, gardens and streets. Grows: 5m H x 4m W.
Plant in full sun to part shade in free draining soil - keep soil moist until the tree is well established.
Fertilise when planting and again with new growth. Prune to shape if required in the winter months.
