Phlox stolonifera Home Fires
Long flowering, low growing perennial ideal as a ground cover or for filling spaces in fronts of borders or along edging. Fragrant flowers of bright pink from early spring to autumn.
Prefers an open, well draining soil in a full sun location although afternoon shade will be tolerated. Removing spent flowers will encourage further flushes. Pruning is generally not required. Medium watering requirements withstanding some dryness but should be watered regularly during extended periods of heat.
Plant in full sun to part shade in free draining soil. Apply a slow release fertiliser in autumn.
