Lime Sulphur is both a fungicide and insecticide and is generally used on fruit trees and roses.
Forms a protective film of sulphur which prevents entry of certain fungus diseases and insect pests on roses and fruit trees in the home garden.
Controls Diseases: Scale, Leaf Curl, Shot hole freckle, Rust, Black Spot and Powdery Mildew.
Common uses are to spray roses and deciduous fruit trees immediately after winter pruning (to help control over-wintering aphids, red spider mite and fungal spores).
