Desert Flame is a hardy, evergreen, Australian native perennial featuring beautiful silvery grey foliage with stems that grow flat along the ground, with the tips rising upwards to showcase a profusion of vibrant golden 'yellow button' flowers. It can reach up to a height of 30cm and spreads approximately 50cm wide.
A hardy, low maintenance plant. Good for massed plantings, rockeries, coastal gardens and containers. It also works well as ground cover among trees and shrubs. When planted above a retaining wall, it cascades down, producing clusters of small golden-yellow blooms that beautifully contrast with its silver leaves. Desert Flame creates a stunning display of bright yellow and orange hues, adding a striking burst of colour to any landscape.
Drought resistant. Tolerates light frost. Attracts Bees, birds and other pollinators. Plant in full Sun - part shade in free draining soil.
