Commonly known as Peruvian Feather Grass, Stipa Ichu has dense clumps of narrow, green leaves are adorned through summer with an abundance of long, white plumes that last the distance. These 'flowers' add glorious movement and an ethereal softness to the garden. Ideal for adding structure, movement and colour. Grows to approx. 90cm H x 90cm W. Frost hardy.
Previously known as Jarava ichu, it holds the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, one of the highest accolades a plant can have.
Plant in full sun in very well draining soil (it hates wet feet).
