Cumquat – Citrus × microcarpa
An attractive evergreen citrus tree producing masses of small, decorative fruit that can be enjoyed fresh or used to make marmalade, liqueurs and candied fruit. Its compact growth and ornamental appeal make it an excellent choice for home gardens and large pots or tubs.
Plant in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil. Once established, cumquats are drought tolerant and can grow approximately 3–4 metres high and 3–4 metres wide, making them a productive and attractive addition to the edible garden.
When planted in a container - be sure to use a premium quality potting mix.
