Jackmanii Clematis (Large Flowering)

Candy Stripe is a beautiful climbing plant featuring soft mauve-pink petals with a striking central stripe. The large blooms reach up to 15cm across and appear over a long flowering season, with reliable repeat flowering in both sun and part shade.

This vigorous, deciduous climber establishes quickly, making it ideal for covering pergolas, fences, walls and posts, or weaving through trees and shrubs. A Pruning Group 2 Clematis, it flowers on both old and new growth and responds well to light pruning for an extra flush of blooms.

Easy to grow in well-drained, humus-rich soil, clematis thrive with cool roots, a sunny position and regular feeding. Perfect alongside roses, in mixed garden beds or even in large pots for stunning vertical colour.
