PRE ORDER - CHERRY SIR DON - Bare Rooted

The Sir Don PBR cherry (Prunus avium) features a semi-upright growth habit and produces large, sweet cherries with dark red to black skin. Its heart-shaped fruit is ideal to eat fresh or in jams and preserves.

As a self-pollinating variety, only one tree is needed, though it requires a cold winter for optimal fruit set.

Cherries thrive in full sun and well fertilised soil. Proper pruning, regular fertilising and consistent watering will lead to an abundant harvest.

Plant it in well-drained, well-prepared soil, ensuring the bud union is above soil level. Water thoroughly and keep the soil moist until the tree is established. Fertilise at planting and again after new growth appears.
