Prunus cerasus ‘Morello’
aka Sour cherries
Spreading tree with fruit that is smaller than sweet cherries - they have darker skin and a bitter, sour taste.
Used mainly in cooking, particularly for pies, jams and tarts and is a favourite for making wine and liqueurs.
Ripens in January.
Self-fertile and bear large crops.
