HONEY MURCOTT MANDARIN

Honey Murcott Mandarin – Late Season, Sweet and Juicy Citrus Tree 165mm pot
A moderately vigorous, bushy citrus tree known for its glossy green foliage, fragrant white blossoms, and deliciously sweet, juicy fruit. Producing medium-sized, orange-yellow fruit with a smooth, thin, easy-to-peel skin, this variety is prized for its distinctive honey-sweet flavour and refreshing juiciness.
Maturing late in the season (August to October), Honey Murcott is an excellent choice for extending your mandarin harvest. The fruit is high in vitamin C, making it a healthy snack straight from the tree, or a perfect addition to desserts, salads, and garnishes.
This variety thrives in sunny, sheltered positions, and should be protected from strong winds, particularly during flowering and fruit set. It is frost sensitive and performs best in well-drained soil.

Planting & Care:
Plant in a sunny, well-drained position. Dig a hole twice as wide and deep as the root ball, place the tree so it sits at ground level, backfill firmly, and water well. Apply mulch to retain moisture, keeping it clear of the trunk.
Water regularly during warm weather and while buds, flowers, or fruit are forming. For pots, water every 3–4 days, more often in hot conditions. Prune in late spring to shape the tree and remove dead or low branches and remove suckers to promote healthy growth.
Enjoy the sweet taste of sunshine with the Honey Murcott Mandarin — a late-season favourite for juicy, fragrant, and easy-to-peel fruit.
