A beautiful Australian native covered in fine, ferny silver grey/green foliage giving it a 'soft' appearance and soft to the touch. A great tree with brilliant red small flowers in amongst the foliage. Also known as the Woolly Bush. 1.5m H – 2m W.
Makes a great contrast in the garden, as a specimen tree or can be hedged for a unique soft affect. Tip pruning gives the bush a great shape although pruning is not necessary.
Plant in full sun to part shade in free-draining soil or in a sloping situation. Will tolerate sandy soils, dry conditions, frost and coastal conditions as well as alkaline and acidic soils.
Feed lightly in late winter with a fertiliser formulated specifically for Australian plants.
We recommend you use a good quality Native potting mix If planting in containers.
