Its compact, dense growth habit makes it an ideal choice for low-level plantings in landscapes and garden beds, providing colour in the garden during the cooler months and is an essential food source for nectar feeding birds, bees, and other pollinators.
Thriving in both full sun and part-shade, this hardy, low maintenance, versatile plant adapts to most well-drained soils. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and can withstand light frost, though will need occasional watering during extended dry spells. Grows up to 70cm H x 1-1.5m W.
It is moderately drought, frost, and coastal tolerant, and is adaptable to a variety of well draining soils. Responds well to pruning if wanting to keep at a particular height or width.
