The Dark Foliage Hydrangea Collection is a stunning range of compact flowering shrubs, celebrated for their richly coloured blooms and striking deep purple to almost black foliage. Available in beautiful pink and red flowering varieties, these eye-catching hydrangeas create a spectacular contrast of vibrant flowers against dramatic dark leaves.
Producing large, showy flower heads throughout summer, the blooms gradually deepen in colour as they mature, becoming even richer and more vibrant as the season progresses. Their naturally compact, bushy habit makes them perfect for garden beds, borders, shaded courtyards and decorative pots.
Growing approximately 60–90cm tall and wide, these beautiful hydrangeas thrive in part shade and prefer moist, well-drained soil. Water regularly during warmer months to maintain healthy growth and abundant flowering. Prune back to approximately half their size in winter to encourage fresh, vigorous growth.
Combining dramatic foliage, spectacular summer flowers and a compact growth habit, these hydrangeas are a beautiful choice for adding colour and contrast to smaller gardens and outdoor spaces.
