Tibouchina ‘Peace Baby’ is a stand out selection bred in Queensland, Australia and has been launched with great success on the global stage. ‘Peace Baby’ is one of the most compact forms of Tibouchina currently available, and is a stand out performer in gardens across the country. Large, clear white flowers with pink stamens adorn the plant throughout the warmer months providing stunning colour for entertaining areas. 60cm H.
This is certainly a plant that makes an impact with colour. The bright vibrant flowers are significant both in size and in the number produced per plant, not uncommonly covering parts of the plant to the point that foliage is difficult to see. A dense and compact variety well suited to pots and containers. This variety is easy to grow. Plant alongside other members of the Fantasy Flower Collection for maximum impact.
Performs best in a moist, well drained soil. Tibouchina 'Peace Baby' has medium water requirements once established. Fertilise up to twice per year after flowering (autumn/spring) using a general purpose slow release fertiliser according to manufacturer instructions. Protect from heavy frosts.
