William & Catherine is a beautiful David Austin English shrub rose, named to celebrate the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton in April 2011. Elegant and timeless, this variety features pure white, full-petalled blooms that are shallowly cupped and carried in generous numbers throughout the season.
The flowers release a rich, myrrh fragrance, adding classic rose perfume to the garden. With its attractive, bushy and upright growth habit, William & Catherine is a versatile rose suited to mixed borders, feature plantings, and large pots or containers.
This repeat-flowering rose performs best in full sun, though it will tolerate some light shade. It pairs beautifully with companion plants such as lavender, salvias, dahlias, zinnias and irises, creating a soft, romantic garden display. Grows 1.25–1.5m x 1.25–1.5m.
