Red Star Rose is a modern, low-maintenance rose that combines classic beauty with Australian hardiness. It produces large, very double, high-centered blooms with long, elegant ovoid buds, opening to rich red flowers that appear in flushes throughout the season. Perfect for both the garden and cut flowers, each bloom carries an intense old rose fragrance.
This bushy, compact rose grows to approximately 1.2 m tall x 1 m wide, with excellent disease resistance - low or no blackspot or mildew. Red Star Rose thrives in the heat and is tolerant of low overnight temperatures down to –5 °C, making it ideal for a wide range of Australian climates.
