Foliar Defence is a natural insect repellent containing organic ingredients.
It is non-toxic and used to protect plants from pests and diseases.
It is applied by spraying a diluted solution on plants, usually at a ratio of 1:200 with water - so just a capful into a litre of water is all you need, which means this bottle will last for ages!
This product primarily repels insects by creating a protective barrier on plants and controls pest populations through the fermentation of stored insect food.
Importantly, it does not harm beneficial predator insects and is most effective against chewing and sucking insects. The robust fermentation of microbes and carefully chosen ingredients also enhances disease resistance in growing crops by stimulating Systemic Acquired Resistance (SAR) within the plant, which represents a natural immune response. While Microbial Biocontrol may not necessarily eradicate mildew, it effectively inhibits its growth and development.
