Long stemmed Alstroemeria for cut flowers with a tidy garden habit.
Summer Paradise® Alstroemerias are stunning, taller growing varieties which are hardy garden plants with strong, tall stems of bold coloured flowers that are excellent for picking and will last for weeks in a vase.
Frost and heat hardy they are well suited to growing in garden beds and flower from late spring until late autumn. Best grown in full sun or a lightly shaded spot. Grows 70-80cm H x 50-60cm W.
Varieties to choose from:
- Summer Saint grows 60-75cm tall and has light purple flowers.
- Summer Heat grows 60-70cm tall and has beautiful bright red flowers with vibrant yellow centres.
- Summer Sky - clear white flowers with a splash of yellow in the throat - 60-80cm.
Alstroemerias will perform best in garden soil but can be planted in a container for display on a patio, deck or balcony - be sure to use a premium quality potting mix.
