Dark Burgundy Summer Bloomer
This striking, easy-to-grow plant makes a bold statement in garden beds and pots alike. Its massive, deep burgundy blooms are perfect for mass planting, borders, or containers — and even more impressive when brought indoors as a cut flower.
A florist’s favourite, it flowers more heavily and for longer when blooms are regularly picked. Staking may be needed to support the large flower heads.
In cooler or wet climates, lift bulbs in winter and store in dry sawdust or potting mix to prevent rot and encourage strong regrowth next season.
