Citrus australasica
A native citrus that produces fruit with bright pink caviar-like pulp. Great for entertaining and highly sought after by restaurants. This bush tucker is a must for any garden.
An evergreen tree with small rounded deep green foliage with stems which bare thorns. Pale white-pink flowers appear in late Summer and autumn, followed by elongated green-burgundy fruits with soft pink pearl-like flesh.
Fruit will begin to ripen, but not entirely on the tree, throughout the Winter season and early Spring. Once picked leave for 5-10 days for the fruit to fully ripen producing the bright pink caviar-like pulp with an intensely sweet flavour with a touch of tang.
