Enjoy more flowers with no pruning!                                                           140mm pot

Hydrangea 'Runaway Bride' is a stunning new variety of hydrangea that features unique garland-like stems with large crisp white blooms. The flowers get better and better each year, which means no pruning is required! Flower buds form all along the branches at each leaf pair. The beautiful blooms flower for upwards of four months, providing long-term colour through late spring into autumn. Best grown in sun to part-shaded areas in well-draining soil.

Awarded Plant of the Year at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2018 and awarded winner of Japan's Flower of The Year Award 2019-2020. This breakthrough Hydrangea 'Runaway Bride' is now available for Australian gardeners!

  • Garland of white flowers, perfect for floral arrangements
  • Dark green leaves with autumn foliage; leaves turn red before dormancy
  • Long flowering; 2 months; with good repeat flowering
  • Tolerates cold temperatures to -10, frost hardy
  • Protect from hot westerly aspects if grown in WA
  • Fast-growing perennial
  • Great garden performance
  • Doesn't require pruning!

Care: Flowers form on the previous year's shoots. Best grown in moist to well-draining soils; clay-loam. Moderate water requirements once established. Fertilise regularly throughout the active growing season with an all-purpose fertiliser. Basal shoots should be allowed to grow as they will be the flowering stems in the next year. By keeping these basal shoots, they will achieve the magical 'garland' growing habit. - Do not prune!

In hot climates protect from hot westerly aspects. Additional watering may be required to keep plant well hydrated during extreme heat temperatures.

CAUTION Harmful if eaten/skin & eye irritant

Suggested uses:
