Murraya koeniggii
If you love a curry this is a must have plant.
A small evergreen tree with highly fragrant, shiny, dark green leaves. Sprays of small, white, fragrant flowers bloom throughout the year andare followed by clusters of edible black berries - NB: the seeds are NOT edible.
The highly aromatic, fresh leaves are perfect for use in curries, soups or anything you like to add a touch of Indian flavour to. Plant close to your back door to enjoy the fragrant foliage.
- Plant in full sun - part shade in moist, free draining soil.
- Protect from frosts and strong winds.
- Prune in spring to encourage growth and shape.
- Fertilise in spring.
