Rosa chinensis ‘Butterfly Rose’
Mutabilis, also known as the Butterfly Rose, is a heritage China rose with multi-coloured blooms that open coppery yellow and age to pinky crimson. This vigorous, healthy shrub grows up to 2.5m tall, with dark plum stems and green-grey foliage, flowering recurrently throughout the warmer months.
Inducted into the Old Rose Hall of Fame 2012, it’s perfect as a feature shrub, hedge, or cottage garden rose. Can also be used for rose oil production, though large quantities of blooms are needed.
Supplied as a bare-rooted plant.
