EUCALYPTUS BABY BLUE
$18.95
Eucalyptus pulverulenta 140mm pot
A striking small evergreen Australian native. It is mainly grown as an ornamental tree for its attractive, rounded silvery-blue foliage which creates an attractive contrast in gardens and landscapes. The leaves are covered with a powdery substance (pulverulenta) that gives them a dusty, velvety appearance, with new growth tips of blushing lilac.
Baby Blue's compact size makes it suitable for smaller gardens, containers, or as a specimen tree. Branches grow horizontally, often zig-zagging, and have smooth, mottled bark that sheds in strips, revealing patches of grey, white, and olive-green colours. Grows to 5m H x 3m W.
Creamy yellow flowers are produced between May and November. Birds, butterflies and bees absolutely love this plant.
We recommend you use a good quality Native potting mix If planting in containers.
