PAEONY MARIE LEMOINE
$23.95
A prized late-flowering herbaceous peony celebrated for its large, fragrant double blooms. Creamy white petals with the occasional crimson edge create an elegant, romantic display, making this variety a standout in garden beds and stunning floral arrangements.
Peonies are long-lived, hardy perennials that thrive in cool to temperate Australian gardens. While they take two to three years to establish and produce their best flowering display, the reward is decades of magnificent blooms with very little ongoing maintenance. Beneath the soil, they develop an extensive root system that supports increasingly impressive flowering each year.
Plant in a sunny position with well-drained, fertile soil, ensuring the crown sits just below the surface with no more than 2cm of soil covering the buds. Planting too deeply may reduce flowering. Feed regularly with a quality fertiliser and apply garden lime to encourage strong growth and abundant blooms.
Perfect for garden borders, cottage gardens and cut flower arrangements.
Flowering: Late Spring to Early Summer
