Blooms in Spring/Early Summer
Plant 5 cm deep from June onwards. Prefers a Shady, cool position or in a position that receives morning sun and afternoon shade. Enjoys a well drained, heavier rich soil. Protection from the wind is recommended.
Paeonies will take 12 months to establish, leave undisturbed for at least 5 years before lifting and dividing the clumps. A cold winter is a must for the paeonies to succeed. They need sunlight for the flowers and cool for the roots.
