There's nothing better that the taste of Raspberries picked fresh from the bush!
‘Heritage’ produces large, sweet, juicy, full flavoured fruit on long canes during summer, with a second, smaller crop in autumn. 'Heritage' is a very vigorous and hardy raspberry that will bring you up to 12 weeks of fruit from February onwards. It is a primocane variety that produces fruit on first year stems and has excellent disease resistance.
Raspberries grow well in cool climates and are pretty easy care and the plants produce reliably for many years.
Plant Raspberries in full sun in humus rich, well drained soil. Space 45cm apart. Plant the cane quite shallow, round 10cm deep.
Ensure a good watering regime as flowers and berries develop. Mulch around the base of the plant in early Spring to retain moisture and supress weeds. Prune old or weak growth during Winter.
Ideal for using in desserts, jams and eating on their own as a healthy snack.
Supplied as bare root canes.
